Avoid alcohol, aspirin and anti-inflammatory drugs. Avoid alcohol two days before the treatment and do not take aspirin or anti-inflammatory medications two weeks prior to injections. It may take up to 7 days to see results.

For two hours after treatment, keep head above heart level and frown and look up several times during this period. Do not rub area that was treated. Slight bruising, redness, and headaches are common side effects of Neuromodulators. These should resolve after a couple of days. Tylenol can be used for headaches and arnica tablets/creams can be used for bruising.
