Best Dermal Fillers in Tucson, AZ

If you want to rejuvenate your skin without undergoing any aggressive surgical procedures, dermal fillers may be your best option. Dermal fillers are increasing in popularity because they are a safer, more affordable alternative to surgery. You can regain the youthful vitality of your skin after just one treatment, and the effects can last for up to two years. Fillers can also be used in many areas including the cheeks, chin, jawline, temples, lips and even the hands.

How do Dermal Fillers work?

With age, your skin loses collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid by producing these substances as slower rates. Many dermal fillers feature natural ingredients to replenish the skin’s supply and restore a youthful look.

How can Dermal Fillers help me?

As we age, our face changes over time, so dermal fillers allow you to control your looks subtly over time. depending on where the volume loss is, replenishing the volume with fillers using a specialized technique in target areas will result in a more contoured youthful, natural look with an improved appearance of the skin by softening or eliminating the unwanted fine lines and creases.

Dermal Fillers FAQ

Facial fillers are injectables that can be used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and other characteristics of aging skin, providing patients with a smoother and younger looking complexion.

The idea of facial fillers can seem scary to patients, due to a fear of pain resulting from the injections. Some patients do report mild discomfort during treatment, but there are ways to minimize this. Many fillers contain lidocaine, a mild anesthetic that helps reduce pain during and after treatment. Topical numbing cream may also be used.
Many of our patients who are interested in facial fillers are interested in Botox as well, but Botox is not actually a facial filler. Instead of filling lines and wrinkles, Botox works by gently immobilizing muscles in the face to prevent additional wrinkles from forming. Despite their differences, Botox can be used to enhance and prolong the effects of facial fillers. This is because fillers break down over time whenever the muscles surrounding the injected area are used. Since Botox acts as a muscle relaxer, the fillers are unable to it break down as quickly, which helps the skin remain wrinkle-free and youthful for a longer period of time.

As with any treatment, facial fillers have the potential for side effects. Typically, the side effects are mild and resolve within the first few hours or days following treatment. Common side effects can include bruising, bleeding, and swelling.

Our philosophy is "Less is More." Our practice prides itself on making you look and feel your best by reaching your desired goal in a way that looks natural.
As with any procedure there are risks and considerations when being treated with Botox. Your provider will answer any questions that you have and provide consent forms for you to look over at the time of your treatment.
We use a wide variety of fillers that are customized to your individual needs. The exact filler(s) used will be determined during your consultation. All fillers used are FDA approved for your safety.
